This landscape design project explores the relationship between natural topography, pedestrian movement, and outdoor experiences. By integrating walking routes, observation points, and landscaped gathering spaces into a hillside environment, the project creates opportunities to explore and connect with nature.

Challenge
The site's sloping terrain presents challenges for accessibility, circulation, and the integration of recreational spaces. The key challenge was to introduce a functional visitor experience while respecting the existing landscape and minimizing disruption to its natural character.
Goal
To create a cohesive landscape experience that improves pedestrian connectivity, encourages outdoor exploration, and offers meaningful places for visitors to pause, observe, and interact with their surroundings.
Solution
The design follows the natural contours of the site through a network of winding pathways, elevated walkways, terraces, and scenic viewpoints. Carefully positioned rest areas, integrated planting, and subtle pathway lighting enhance the visitor experience while maintaining a strong connection to the surrounding landscape.
